Can I make a public list private

While I create and add to a list can i hide a list from people?

If it’s a premium list, you can. When you edit the list, go to premium tab and choose private or public for list visibility. The following post with a video should help:

You can change a list back from private to public when you are ready to do so.

Hello. I do not understand how to get to the screen where an existing list can be changed from public to private. Will you please provide step by step instructions on how this is accomplished?
