Blog Post ONLY available on List.ly

To say I am very upset would be an understatement.

I have a blog post at: http://trafficnymphomaniac.com/83-social-bookmarking-sites-with-high-prthat-can-make-you-a-power-on-the-internet/

Suddenly, this link leads to a blog page that says: View List on List.ly
NOT GOOD!!

To make matters worse when I click the “View List on List.ly” link it leads to
a page with the notation: “Lemur is lost :(Sorry! He couldn’t find the page you were looking for.”

Please, tell me how to cure this problem ASAP.

This link is heavily promoted and right now is useless.

@taxtorpedo Can you clear any cache on your WordPress site especially for that page and try loading that page again? It looks like that page was cached incorrectly.

This looks like a list.ly plugin problem because my other post that links to list.ly
has the same problem.

Also, the “View List on List.ly” link leads to the same error page as above.

As far as clearing a cache"for that page" I have no idea how to do that. These are
blog posts, not static pages.

Edit reason:I tried “Delete cache” under settings for the list.ly plugin.

I got this notice: “No connectivity or Listly service not available. Try later.”

Many WordPress installations have a cache plugin installed such as W3 Total Cache https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/. You typically find a way to clear cache on that plugin page.

The other thing you can try is to disable and enable the Listly plugin. And if that does not work, even uninstall the re-install the Listly Plugin. Remember to add the publisher key after re-install.

Can you try these options and let us know?

I tried all of the above remedies.

Cleared the WP Super cache. No good.

Disabled the Listly plugin. No good

Enabled the Listly plugin. No good.

Re-installed the Listly plugin.Publisher key intact. No good.

The one thing that may be the source of the problem is the notice:
"No connectivity or Listly service not available. Try later."

This notice comes up when I click the “settings” link in the
plugin.

What’s the cure for this particular problem?

Is anyone else getting this notice or having the same problem I am having?

This list has over 40,000 views and I have many links to it all over the Internet,
so it is urgent to fix this problem.

Looks like your WP server host is having trouble connecting to Listly servers via SSL

If you load you page with a debug param like this:

http://trafficnymphomaniac.com/83-social-bookmarking-sites-with-high-prthat-can-make-you-a-power-on-the-internet/?ListlyDebug

we can see the SSL error connecting to Listly from your WP server:

cURL error 35: error:14077438:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert internal error

Where is your WP hosted?

@taxtorpedo looks like the server your WordPress is hosted on might have older version of Curl and OpenSSL. This is being used by WordPress to communicate with Listly server. Can you check with your administrator to see these libraries are up to date? Maybe they can share the version of these libraries with you?

Here’s a reference to something similar on another WP site:

My WP blog is hosted at GoGVO – https://gogvo.com/

So far support at GVO has said this is a third-party issue due to the plugin and
they can’t resolve it.

I just replied to them with your SSL error connecting to Listly info.[quote=“timothywander, post:7, topic:812, full:true”]

I just sent your additional information to GoGVO support on an additional ticket. Thanks for your prompt response.

Waiting for a GoGVO response. Will update you when I get it.

@taxtorpedo, great.

Just so you know, we do not have issues with other sites at the moment. If you visit this undocumented trending page on Listly:

https://list.ly/trending/embeds

You can click on the small red embed icon that looks like this “<>” in each of the list cards to visit sites that use the Listly plugin. You should see live working lists on those pages…

@taxtorpedo looks like your lists are back working again. Do you know if your host updated their stack with the latest SSL libraries?
