Hi! So a few months back, I had a list with different items on it, and when I visited today, they were gone. Why does this happen? Did I delete them somehow?

So I have some questions:
1 - Will I lose the list items again? Do I need to keep backups?
2 - How can I promote the list, or any list, to appear on the front page? Do you guys have like a paid service for that?
3 - Is it OK to directly promote my blog on a list, or do I have to link to different blogs other than myself. Is there a rule?
