When I go to customize the embedded list, I select “Newest”, then publish, the list is displayed in the order that I created it. Not by newest. I already created a master image with numbers and now the numbers do not match. Please help!

Can you share your list on Listly and The location of the embedded list?
Also, if you want to the defaultnsort changed on the list, you should edit the list and set the default sort there.
